“How precious small women’s groups are at this time when we are just beginning to trust the truth of our experience.”

Sherry Ruth Anderson and Patricia Hopkins, The Feminine Face of God

“There is nothing so wise as a circle." Rainer Maria Rilke

What is a Circle?

The Circle is process oriented; addresses obstacles in a relationship and how to overcome them with strategies and exercises; rooted in real life - daily experiences of being a women and adolescent girl; uses ritual; emphasizes group consensus, connection and celebration.

Why a Mother Daughter Circle?

The participants’ personal values and ways of being are embraced, not just tolerated. Emphasizes the individual strengths and ways of coping of both mothers and their daughters in a safe free space. Speaking and listening to other mothers and daughters who share common goals enhances better communication and improved relationships. The Circle becomes a container of ongoing discovery bringing each woman and girl closer to her truest self. The sharing between participants creates a bond and as a result, participants become more compassionate, supportive and willing to share their own struggles and achievements.
